Representative Anna V. Eskamani is an Orlando native and daughter of Iranian immigrants. She is the first Iranian-American to serve in the Florida Legislature.
I was honored to have her on the show as a guest last year on International Women’s Day, and in keeping with tradition, we are honoring Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day this week.
We discuss issues like sexual abuse, climate change, outreach in government and more. I am so inspired by the work that Representative Eskamani is doing and has done. She has been making changes and representing her district in meaningful ways.
Through our discussion, regardless of your politics, I hope that listeners will get involved and get out there to vote in 2020. Our voices matter and representatives like Anna are there to listen.
As a reminder, my views on politics are my own and do not affect my position at work. Finally, please help support this podcast by SHARING and RATING it.
