If you can’t get enough of The Mimi and Greg Show this episode will certainly hold you over! Greg Rucka and I chat about everything going on in the world right now.
We tackle climate change, the withdrawal from Afghanistan, voter suppression, comics, book recommendations, death, and how to find the zen we need in our lives right now.
So you know, we kept it light today.
We also deep dive into the most recent issue of his Eisner nominated comic Lazarus Risen 6. (at about minute 31 prep for spoilers) If you haven’t picked up an issue yet, please do. Greg Rucka and Michael Lark’s Lazarus is rich, captivating, and badass.
Over the years I have enjoyed podcasting with many guests, but none have frequented more than Greg Rucka who I am now grateful to call a friend. As many of you know I am an activist in the community and reading Lazarus is actually what kick-started my passion for social justice. I am forever grateful to Greg for inspiring me.
For those that don’t already know:
Greg Rucka is a New York Times bestselling author of hundreds of comics and nearly two dozen novels. He is also the writer for his critically acclaimed film The Old Guard starring Charlize Theron
