In this episode, I discuss a sensitive and personal subject: my experience with childhood sexual abuse.

In past episodes, I have referenced my experience being a survivor of childhood sexual abuse.  I also wrote about it in the original blog post.   And a previous episode was also dedicated to sharing my journey.

I chose to have this meaningful with my husband Oscar, who is my support system.  Even after all these years, talking about the subject is difficult.  I often get choked up during the interview, so thank you in advance for your understanding.  This is never an easy conversation, but talking about it is healthy and empowering for me.  Thank you for listening.

We discuss our opinions on why survivors are not believed, steps to healing, and what each of us can do to improve this societal issue.

Oscar and I are not doctors or therapists.  This episode and blog post are for informational purposes only.  Nothing is intended as professional or medical advice in any capacity. Please be smart and be safe. The episode is also not recommended for children.

I’m grateful for these conversations and hope you find value in them. f you are, please rate my podcast on your platform of choice!  If you would like to support with a donation, you can become a patron of the show by visiting my website or Patreon.com.

  1. Thank you for discussing this topic and sharing these important points. Bringing light to the darkness, and voice to those who have been silenced. If even one survivor finds a path back to the light, the world becomes a better place.
