When I hear the name Chip Zdarsky I think FUNNY. Most people might be thinking of the “Eisner award winning comic creator” … or about his work on Daredevil, Batman, Spiderman and Sex Criminals.
Chip was so kind to take time out of his very busy schedule to discuss all of the incredible projects he is working on. He shares the inspiration behind his newest series, Public Domain (Image comics) and his decision to write, illustrate and letter. Warning: There is a small spoiler for Issue #1 if you haven’t read it yet.
I am loving his CHIPCLASS videos where he gives writing advice in comedic sketches. I highly recommend it! Beyond comics, Chip and I discuss soap operas, pseudonyms and the creative process.
