Live from Paper Asylum! I’m always psyched to visit my favorite comic book and novelty store in Beverly, MA. However, this visit was even more exciting because we did a live recording at the store!
I sit down with owners Pete Kreitchet and Anthony Gallucci to geek out about comic books, comic book film adaptations, and more.
I am a huge comic book fan, and in the past few years have devoured my share of graphic novels. I’ve found that comic books have been a much-needed escape from reality.
Anthony and Pete bring up some interesting points about the changes over the years in the writing, exposure of comic book characters in the film, and the artwork. We cover a large array of comics. If you have any interest in the films or the books, listen on, and enjoy.
Perhaps being a comic book fan today, is far less geeky than in the 80s and 90s, but I warn you, this episode gets pretty nerdy! I was pretty proud of listening back to this interview and was surprised at my ability to keep up with the kings of comics. (P and A of Paper Asylum) Although, there are times when your mind may explode, as mine did.
Finally, if you are near Beverly, MA go and visit the store Anthony and Pete are there to chat comics with and help you pick out your next favorite read.
