Dan John and I have redefined tangent today. Our discussions take us in many different directions, but they are all worth listening to. We talk about his personal and family mission statements, musicals (and how they show excellence), but mostly the importance of rereading books. Dan discusses the benefits of rereading great books at different stages of your life. In addition to being a world-class fitness coach, best-selling author, and professor.

Dan has now agreed to be my personal book club pal as we explore the philosophies of T.H. White’s: The Sword in the Stone. On our last podcast, we interpret some of the quotes from the book. Today we delve even deeper into the story and also cover The Once and Future King, which include the other books in the series that tells the story of King Arthur. We go long on this one – so get comfortable as Dan and I dissect The Sword in the Stone, while breaking out on tangents to discuss education, work ethic, taking time out of your day for what is truly important, and our favorite scenes from musicals.

I hope to continue to bring these conversations to you. In order to help me do that, please share this podcast with others.  You can also take one extra step to show your love by donating to the show on my website: sifumimichan.com.
