It’s the Mimi and Greg Show! These episodes have basically become an on-air recording of Greg Rucka and I discussing: we’ve been up to and how we are coping with the challenges of the week. We discuss my battle and activism with the rise of anti-Asian hate crimes and dealing with burnout from covid19 and watching the Chauvin trial.
I was also excited to discuss Greg’s recent writing projects and his thoughts about the ‘what ifs’ for The Old Guard 2 movie. I also got a master class in developing a strong story plot and character motivation through our discussion of the John Wick series.
This week marks the anniversary of Greg and I podcasting for 1 year! I am grateful for the privilege and honor of being a part of these conversations.
For those that don’t already know:
Greg Rucka is a New York Times bestselling author of hundreds of comics and nearly two dozen novels. He is also the writer for his Nebula-nominated film The Old Guard starring Charlize Theron
