Happy 50th birthday to Hip Hop! As a hip hop fan, I am excited to welcome Oscar and Jason Chu on the show to discuss hip hop culture.
We dive into all the reasons hip hop is meaningful to us and relive some of the 80s, 90s and early 2000’s nostalgia. Does music change or do we? Honored to share in this conversation with Jason and Oscar as we dedicate this episode to the love of hip hop.
Chinese American rapper Jason Chu has been traveling across the USA spreading positivity and awareness for the AAPI community. He is known for his high-energy live performances that blend introspective lyricism with crowd-moving passion. On a mission to “speak hope and healing in a broken world”, his songs and videos tell stories of youth, family, and history.
Please check out his work on Jason Chu – Listener. Speaker. Storyteller.
Oscar Agramonte is my wonderful and adoring husband. He’s also a hip hop expert so I naturally had him join the conversation.
My favor as usual is to please continue to share this podcast with others. It would mean so much if you also rate it and leave me feedback.
