Charlie Beale is the Artistic Director of New York City Gay Men’s Chorus. Under his energized leadership, the chorus has almost 300 singers, performs with a passionate sound, and has an interactive style with audiences. Charlie gives frequent clinics and workshops internationally, focusing on the transforming power of music. Jeff Prystajko is a highly engaged member of both Orlando’s tech and LGBTQ nonprofit communities. As the current board president and former director of marketing for Come Out With Pride Orlando, one of the largest annual pride celebrations in Florida, Jeff leads a volunteer-based team to organize and execute the biggest single-day parade and festival in the city. He is passionate about giving back to the community as well as encouraging activism in others.

Hailey Snow bravely shares her story of self-discovery. At a very young age, she knew she was both a transgender and gay person, despite growing up in a strict Evangelical household. She suffered through years of torment with her identity, and had no one to turn to. I feel fortunate to share Hailey’s story and learned so much from her. I am appalled at the unequal treatment of the LGBTQ community and hope that stories like Hailey’s will help shed light on misconceptions and stereotypes.
