Kung Fu, Connection, and Community: A Weekend to Remember
This past weekend, the Wah Lum family came together in a truly special way to celebrate Sifu Bob Rosen’s 40th anniversary in Boston’s Chinatown. It was more than just a milestone; it was a testament to the strength of our community, the deep roots of our traditions, and the unbreakable bonds we share through our martial arts journey.
Schools from Orlando, Knoxville, and Germany had the opportunity to visit all the New England Wah Lum schools, including Boston, Malden, Quincy, Methuen, and Taunton. The hospitality we received was overwhelming, and the spirit of Wah Lum was alive in every interaction, performance, and exchange of knowledge.
What makes a gathering like this so unique is its ability to bring together people from all walks of life—different ages, backgrounds, and beliefs—all uniting around something central: Wah Lum system – a unique gift that my father gave to the world.
Listen on for a full recap of our weekend and why more than ever, community is essential.
